SMS/Text Messaging Privacy

EpoxyFlow sends transactional text messages to homeowners on behalf of epoxy flooring contractors who use our platform. This section describes how we collect, use, and protect mobile phone numbers and SMS-related data.

What we collect: Your mobile phone number, provided either directly to your contractor or through an EpoxyFlow lead capture form.

How we use it: To send transactional SMS messages including quote notifications with payment links, payment confirmations, and payment reminders. Messages are sent only when a contractor initiates an action in the EpoxyFlow platform. No marketing or promotional messages are sent.

How consent is obtained: Homeowners may optionally consent to receive SMS messages by either (1) checking an optional opt-in checkbox on the contractor's EpoxyFlow lead capture form, or (2) providing their phone number directly to their contractor during an in-person estimate or phone consultation, at which time the contractor asks if they would like to receive SMS notifications. Consent is not required to receive service.

Message frequency: Varies based on your transactions with your contractor. Typically 1–3 messages per project.

Message and data rates may apply.

Opt-out: Text STOP to opt out at any time. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages will be sent.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, share, or distribute any mobile opt-in data or consent information to any third parties, lead generators, or affiliates under any circumstances.

Third-party service providers: We use Twilio solely for the purpose of delivering transactional SMS messages. Twilio does not use your phone number for any purpose other than message delivery. No other third parties have access to your mobile information.

EpoxyFlow ("we", "us", "our") is a SaaS platform for epoxy flooring contractors, operated by 949 Media Group LLC. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and share information when you use our platform at epoxyflow.io.

2. Information We Collect

For Contractors (Business Users):

• Account information: name, email, phone number, business name, address
• Payment information: Stripe connected account details (we do not store bank account or card numbers)
• Business data: leads, quotes, invoices, and payment records you create in the platform

For Homeowners (Customers of Contractors):

• Contact information: name, phone number, email address, and property address as provided by your contractor
• Payment information: processed securely through Stripe (we do not store card details)
• Transaction records: quotes received, payments made, and communication history

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information collected to:

• Provide and operate the EpoxyFlow platform
• Process payments through Stripe
• Send transactional emails (quote notifications, payment receipts, payment reminders)
• Send transactional SMS messages (quote notifications, payment confirmations, payment reminders) — only to users who have opted in
• Improve our services and user experience
• Comply with legal obligations

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not share or sell mobile phone numbers or any mobile opt-in data with third parties or affiliates for any purpose, including marketing and promotional purposes.

We may share information with the following service providers solely for the purpose of operating the EpoxyFlow platform:

• Stripe: for payment processing
• Resend: for transactional email delivery
• Twilio: for transactional SMS delivery
• Law enforcement: when required by law

These service providers are bound by their own privacy policies and are not permitted to use your information for any purpose other than providing their services to us.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Payment processing is handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS compliant.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Contractors may delete lead and customer data at any time through the platform.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your information
• Opt out of SMS communications by texting STOP

8. Cookies

EpoxyFlow uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
